At Bochemie, we not only produce the impregnation products, but also apply them in practice if necessary. Because impregnation is essential.
Therefore, during the recent renovation of the building, which for many years served as a place for chloramine production, we opted for the proven Bochemit brand, which contains a unique composition of active ingredients providing perfect protection against wood-destroying insects, fungi and mold.
During the course of the extensive nine-month renovation, many structural changes were made. The walls were repaired and part of the original walls were demolished. The original floor was completely removed and replaced with a polished concrete floor. In addition, new wiring was installed, windows were replaced, including the construction of new door. The entire building was also thermally insulated with mineral wool.
Thanks to the very good condition of the original ceiling joists, these could be preserved. After thorough sanding, they were subsequently treated with Opti F+, which was applied by spraying. The ceiling boarding is brand new. The new battens were impregnated with the same product as the joists, namely a colorless finish. The impregnation will guarantee their long-term protection and durability.
The renovated 160sqm building now boasts a modern aesthetic and functionality and serves as a place for the assembly of ACCU stacks.
