Historical facility of Rožnov town hall from 1770 in Wallachian Open Air Museum in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm, where the experts proved the active attack from ligniperdous insect, went through emergency hot-air reconstruction in 2016. Further prevention was successfully provided by Bochemit QB Profi.
Rožnov town hall from 1770 became the first facility of the future Wallachian Open Air Museum in 1924, and it is one of the most valuable facility. The construction comprises of two above ground floors and truss construction formed by supported collar beam structure. The roof cladding is provided by traditional shingle. The attack from the longhorned beetle and common furniture beetle required the hot-air reconstruction. It was completed in September 2016 by means of four hot-air aggregates with the total performance 33 500 m3 of hot air per hour. This method represents solely sterilisation character and cannot prevent the repeated attack of wooden structural elements from ligniperdous insects. Therefore the two layer spray contained the preventative insecticide and fungicidal agent Bochemit QB Profi - water soluble concentrate designed for the impregnation of timber, truss, and other construction wood during the construction and reconstructions in the interiors and exteriors. Historical facility of the town hall now provides long lasting protection against ligniperdous fungi, mould, and ligniperdous insect.
