The owners of a single family home in the village of Valaliky in the Košice-okolie district decided to rebuild their house on a larger scale. The plan was to add another residential section and completely replace the existing roof. All works were managed by the construction company M&B RENO - STRECHY from the Rožňava district, which boasts 20 years of experience on the market.
The renovation itself began with the dismantling of the existing roofing and roof frame on the existing part of the house. Here it was necessary to install a new beam structure and to lay new roofing. The same work was taking place on the newly added section. For their renovated house, the owners chose a gable roof, which is known for generally resisting all kinds of weather well.
A total of 17 cubic meters of timber was used, which, at the customer's request, was delivered from the Copper Wood sawmill already impregnated in a quality manner with Bochemit QB Profi. It is one of the most commonly used products on sawmills because it contains a unique composition of active ingredients that provide superior protection against wood-destroying insects, fungi, molds and also ensure the long-term durability of wood. Preventive impregnation always pays off. The costs associated with the subsequent remediation of infested wood can exceed the costs of prevention many times over.
