The owner of a wooden log house under construction in Sweden wanted to be sure to protect it against wood-decaying insects, fungi and moulds to give it the longest life possible. The constructor agreed and proceeded to impregnate the timber with Bochemit QB Profi colourless spray.
Later, the owner himself treated the timber with a colour-pigmented oil impregnating agent. The wood now has a top coat that protects it against UV radiation, rain and other weather conditions, while also protecting the impregnating agent from being gradually washed away by rain. Before he started, we advised him to try applying the impregnating agent to a small piece of ready-impregnated wood to see what the paintwork would look like.
